My car 2000 323 ci wont start. I dont hear the fuel pump how can I test the pump

Check to see if it's getting voltage with the key on. If it's getting power, the pump is probably bad.

I am still waiting for help. I dont hear the pump, the car wont start but when I spray starting fluid the car starts. I can hear the relay closing when I plug it in and there is power on the fuse #54 so is the pump correct?

Did you confirm that you have voltage at the pump? If so, then it's the pump.
