My friend's 96 328ic had issues with the convertible top. His mechanic diagnosed it as a faulty convertible top module so he immediately bought another module for $200 at the wrecker since a new one costs $351. It turns out the mechanic was wrong and it wasn't the module. :rolleyes

So I offered to sell his replacement module. We tested it in his car and it works great.
