Recently I went to change the climate panel lights that light up the wheels, ever since I've owned the car it has been burned out. So changing the bulb I discover there is one bulb for all three wheels.....The wheel for passenger temp is bright like it should be and then the fan speed and driver temp are pretty dim. Anyone have a suggestion or is this how it is designed?

That is how it is designed.....:( One bulb and 3 tubes.

One owners solution http://www.wuffer.net/page14.html

You can contact wuffer for details from that page.

There is a lot more including manuals there too.:)

Thanks Terry....again :) I am going to do the LED upgrade. I almost cannot believe with the design of the car, they left this one aspect of the car designed so poorly.

I am the polar opposite here. I just need a hint of where the controls are in the dark and as few bright distractions as possible.

This could be because I got to driving age in a little town in the middle of Illinois where when night fell it was DARK! None of this pastel skies and bright streets of the cities I have lived in much of the time since then. That and the part about the '50s cars having about 3 light bulbs in the dash and you had to learn where the rest of the moving things were in the dark by braille.

Same with the sound system. I have a nice Sony MP-3 and CD head unit and Sirius with a Sub in the trunk but would much rather listen to the wind and the motor running :) Besides the head-banging stuff I listen to makes me drive too fast:(
