Curious whether anyone here knows about this car show. It has been held for 20 years or so at Bonny Eagle High School. It is enormous - on a sunny day they will get >1800 cars. I know it from the domestic (Pontiac) side of my garage. They often have a decent import section too. Well worth attending if the weather's nice. Ironically enough though I can't go because I have to go pick up my son in Vermont that day...but you guys should go and report back!

Hmmm. Interesting. I googled that Groton show and called the number listed as the contact, spoke with Jon. Very nice young man, excited about the show and raising money for a good cause. Last year, their first, they had 40 cars. This year he's hoping he'll get 100 cars. I hope he gets that and more and raises some money to benefit The Wish Project. If you're in that area you should definitely go and support it.
However, whether a car show hoping for 100 cars in its second year is "way better" than the 28th Annual Bonny Eagle Car Show that attracts 1800+ entries is, of course, open to debate. :rolleyes

I'm Jon, the guy you spoke with on the phone. I know my show can't compare to 1800 + cars literally. But I need to try and fend off the competition a little bit. :)

Ha Ha! I had a feeling that was you. That's why I (truthfully) said nice things about your show! I don't think you'll have to worry about competition, these shows are too far apart geographically to be of much concern. And, as I said, I can't go to the one in ME that day since i have to drive my son to Vermont. If i go through MA I was looking for something else to visit...good luck with the show!
