as most people know there are usually not that drastic of a discount on these items and shipping is killer. so i was thinking that if a few of us descide we want to buy VIS carbon hoods and trunks and combined shipping we could see a discount that way. figure pay $150 each of us or pay $250ish between 5 of us. those are not exact #'s as i will have to call for that tomorrow but who would be interested?

ps we all know how hard these are to come by here on the east coast.

There has been group buys for Vis hoods in the past. Normally people are all gung ho about it in the beginning. When its time to pay up people start dropping like flies and the GP falls apart. The guys from Project M Spec are local in the NYC and claim they will be selling Seibon hoods at a "discount". I am personally waiting to see what happens with them.

I dont think they make trunks. I can call and ask if they can work something out.

I know that seibon makes hoods, both the oem look and the ER look which I think is similar to the GTR hood that Ma Shaw sells.

In either case I am pretty sure that individual shipping is $100 and if we can get a group together we can get a cheaper price on shipping.

E36 CSL 2door trunk $515
shipping for both $202

total of $1150

that isn't so bad. but if we could get that closer to $1k i would be happier.
