Found another car. Seems clean minus a few things. Seller stated the turn signals dont work. Along with the fact that it wont pass emissions. Also i guess they put an aftermarket cd player in and now the onboard computer wont calculate anything. Does the factory tape deck have something to do with what info the on board computer receives. Thats the one that bothers me (electrical probs scare me).

Obviously needs some work but for 10,000 dollars and 74,000 miles(sport package) seems like its worth it.

by putting in an aftermarket head unit you lose the ability to set the clock in the insturment cluster and aren't able to use the stereo control buttons on the steering wheel (if you've got 'em). as far as not passing emissions, that's a huge question. there could be a lot of things wrong that affect the emissions status. ask a lot of questions with this one. 10K sounds good, but it could cost you 6K to get it right.

Well the seller had a BMW tech look over it. Supposedly needs an Intake gasket (I'm thinking thats most of the emissions issues), LKM Module, and vacuum plate (not sure what that one is). Oh and it pisses oil. Should fit right in:confused . Seems like it could work out.

seems like a head ache, but damn, that's a good price with those miles. Take it to a place you trust, if you can, and get it checked out.
