I know that this is off topic but I figured the conversation would be much better here for the Cricket World Cup than Off Topic. No one in America respects or even really knows anything about cricket.

Anyway, I know you guys are rooting Australia without a doubt but I think this year's cup will prove to be very exciting with a lot of good matches.

As for me... WEST INDIES ALL THE WAY..... we've got some wonderful batsmen- keep an eye on chris gayle, wavell hinds, marlon samuels.... ahhh I can't wait to wake up in a few hours to watch the match against South Africa!

I think Australia's only real opposition will come from New Zealand, South Africa are talking themselves up but I think they will crumble.

Man it depends...if aussies playing with full strength should be no probs.. Teams that have defeated the Aussies in recent times are NZ, SL and SAF..they've been one off defeats...but u got to remember in the World Cup it only takes one loss in the Super Six and your out... I think the Aussies lost like 3 in a row in 99..and then won 6 or 7 in a row to win ...

i just got back from watching, enjoying, and celebrating our opening match... brian lara, old man has still got it!

pedro collins on the other hand should be publicly whipped and suspended at least 1 game for such an error, nearly cost the game. stepping on the boundary is unacceptable on such an easy catch.

i am looking forward to seeing you guys (australia) face up against pakistan- should be some really good bowling!
