Are those halogen or HIDs?

Is it as complicating and messy as the instructions on the website offer to install?

Installing P39's is a very simple job. 2 wrenches out of 5.

No, not complicated or messy at all. That guy did it the hard way. Just tap into the parking lights. Brown wire go with BMW brown wire, Red wire go with BMW white/blue-greenish wire (the middle wire). That's it. :)

did you set yours up to have the Halos as DRL's?

I connected it to the parking lights. So if you just want the "rings" on all the time, just turn on the parking lights.

if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your lights? I have Xenons so I'm sure mine would be more.

The info you need is in this thread. I don't know if the Group-Buy is still available.

for halogens those look damn nice, but it would show up better in pics if there was less light meaning if it was darker out or your flash was off. nonetheless i cant wait till mine come in. is there a bluish tint to those bulbs?

iwill be tapping into the ECU power wire. but i will hopefully make it look neater somehow

Any dash bulb errors with this setup?

I noticed else where that someone had a bulb error using the side lamp splice method. Again brown to brown, red to MIDDLE wire, both sides?

i.e.
The brown wire from the Angel Eyes to the brown wire on the blinker was correct.
However, the red wire from the Angel Eyes should go to the gray wire on the blinker.
Everything is working great now, except for the bulb error that is displayed in the dash of my vehicle.

On my 99 I have the two brown leads but for middle leads I have gray (passenger) and green gray (drivers). The other outside leads are blue and blue purple.

No errors in my dash. I'll take better daytime pics once my car is clean.

Bit off-topic, I was looking at this GB but not sure I like how prominent the amber is from the indicators.. yours on the other hand are fantastically clear, do you mind me asking what brand/where yours are from? :)

They aren't prominent at all. In fact, they aren't anything. It's clear. Not amber.

They can be whatever color you want to put into it.

I have clear bulbs in my front turn signals. I don't believe it's legal, but I like the look :shifty.

Oh and they're p39's just like the group buy. I like 'em.....
