I just bought some new racks for my X5

The manual says be sure to place rear rack AHEAD of middle support bracket.

Yet, the photo on the brochure shows the rear rack AFT of the middle support.

Is there any problem if I place the rear rack BEHIND the middle support post?

I only carry surfboards (2) at a time.

We set it up with the rear rack after the middle support...just make sure you distribute the weight evenly and slightly more towards the front...haven't had a problem....
