I know the same vendor on Ebay that was selling the service manuals also sells the electrical diagrams (I only purchased the service manuals), or you can go to www.bmwtis.com (http://www.bmwtis.com) (factory repair site) and for $30.00 for 24 hours look up any info you want (I believe you can also print them out).
I had also purchased Chilton and Haynes service manuals, but they are not specific to the Z4. However if you want to try going that route tell me what you want and I can try and get you the info... do you have Xenon's??

I lied, I do have a exterior lighting/headlight system/headlight wiring diagram for a 2003 Z4, what do you want to know, I'll see if I can find it for you??

i do have xenons....

which brings me to this question... HOW DOES THE MIRROR INSIDE TRIGGER UP AND DOWN? constant or pulse electircal current to the light assembly? vaccuum?

1st... i need to know if there is a Light Control Module.
2nd... is there a particular wire that "triggers" the high beam indicator light?
- or does it go to another computer somewhere that sends that info to the cluster
3rd... the wires that run from the BLINKER/HIGH BEAM/FTP switch on the steering column... which colors do what (mainly FTP and HIGH)
- or is it a low current computer wiring type of thing... is this car built like an old fasioned american truck or a japanese space station?

OR could i trouble you to scan and email?

AAAHHH, I spent a half hour looking up and typing info, went to send a reply and lost all the info, said I needed to sign in again....

Sorry, I don't have a scanner at home.

4 wires from the "light switch cluster" to a "High beam height control stepper motor"
Right hand side- blu/grn, yel/blk, yel/brn, blu/blk.
Left hand side- blu/red, blu/brn, yel/brn, yel/red.

1- It has an "Instrument Cluster Control Module (I'll call this- ICCM). yel/red wire from the "Direction Indicator / High Beam Switch" feeds the ICCM, wht/red/yel from the ICCM feeds the "Computer Data Lines".
2- wht wire- "HI BM/FLASH SW" is indicated on the "Light Switch Cluster"
3- Right hand- "XENON HL ACT" is a yel/red, "HIGH BEAM SIG" is a wht/blu.
Left- "XENON HL ACT" is yel/brn, "HIGH BEAM SIG" is wht/grn. (like #2 these are taken off of the "Light Switch Cluster")
Sorry, it doesn't look like a good old pick up, but I'm not an electrical expert by any means....
I'll send you a PM with my phone number in case you want to call with other questions.

okay... going to have to ponder on this and read it a few times

I am really interested in this #2 (WHITE WIRE) HIBM/FLASH SWITCH... i believe this is exactly the wire I am searching for... this is connected to the switch cluster?

Sorry, I was just trying to cut corners after doing so much typing, then having to do it again.....
Just follow the questions you asked and read the responses in the same order, it should help you out??? Yes, the White wire is connected to the switch cluster and I do believe this is what you are looking for (from reading your other threads).

Again I would be more then happy to help you out if I can, give me a call on Saturday or Sunday :)

Sadly all Z4 projects have temporarily put onto hold. Wifey and I only had 1 car (the Z4)

SSOOO we went out this past weekend and picked up a little "commuter car" which doubles as wifey's car... Which HAD to get a new stereo this weekend, a scrub down inside and out, etc etc etc...

So in the process the Z car, once again has to wait. Didn't even get its weekly wash this past weekend. :-(
