Is there a way to reset the sunroof so that it fully closes without the Seam?

It closes completely so that it is airtight; however, there is a small indent (dose not close with the rear level to the roof - Cosmetic).

I believe that I had read a portion of a thread which included some reset instructions for this.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

The electrical reset of the sunroof is done by running it to each of the limits and continuing to hold the switch for 15-20 seconds. That resets the motor limits.

BTW the window reset for misbehaving windows is the same procedure.

If the electrical reset does not cure the misalignment then you will need to do a mechanical adjustment in the sunroof mechanism.

But to clarify , do you push the open button, allow it to open all the way, then keep holding the open button for add. 20 sec., then do the same w/ the close?
Or do you open fully, then close fully, then hold close for add. 20 sec.? Does my question make sense?

Yes-push and hold for 20 additiona seconds after it reaches the limits.
