Yes, they produced a total number of 97 based on the classic 5.0 850I and a 5.7 version based on the 850CSI.
Boston Killer 05-02-2007, 05:41 PM E31 were always my favorite BMWs. Beautiful cars, just beautiful. Terrific pictures, great to see many of them together.
Is the red one an 850CSi?
840boy 05-02-2007, 06:10 PM Those are some great pics! I am excited to go to my first 8 event whenever that may be.:redspot

TerryY 05-21-2007, 05:35 PM Every time we start feeling too unique we have a meeting with a bunch of 8's in attendance. Then we can feel like conformists again for a while :)
e31bubba 05-21-2007, 05:46 PM funny thing I started a new job and so did my wife we both have co-workers who drive 8's
Everette 05-23-2007, 11:52 AM Sweet CSi Alx!!....the E31s really are timeless...

just wondering how much are they going for these days?
gspdbill 06-14-2007, 10:24 AM just wondering how much are they going for these days?
All over the map. As usual depends on mileage, condition, model and year. I've seen them for under $10k to upper 30's.
gspdbill 06-14-2007, 10:37 AM Very nice Bill!
Any more pics?
Yes I do. They're mostly hi-res but I reduced these for you.

gspdbill,
Are your rear wheels 18x9.5? or are they 18x8s all the away around!
I am thinking about these in Chrome w/ 18x9.5 rear!
840ways to C
Ahmed303 06-14-2007, 01:29 PM Looks like 18x8 all around. 18x9.5 would have a deeper lip. But it is hard to tell from a flat side picture. My old 840 had the 18x9.5 with 285 tires on them.

Just polished.
DickyT 06-15-2007, 01:41 AM Simply gorgeous. Seeing that many together reminds me of my senior year of high school when I went to the stealership to drive my dad's home for him. that's the only other time I've seen more than 2 in one place.
I hope to have one some day.

Mine are 18x8's all around. I didn't want the additional understeer issues w/ the staggered setup.
gspdbill 06-15-2007, 03:18 PM Thank you :)

Regards,
The lighting really makes a diff. in how the color shows (hope that makes sense).
Sex on wheels. Impossible to pick a favorite. I see no alternative to an E31 for my next vehicle :cool
Storz 06-20-2007, 03:54 PM So damn cool
