I am ok with some bruises and neck pains from the accident.

I was going to buy it back. But they wanted to much for it. As for parts, I have some aftermarket parts that I was going to install in the car before this all happen. I let you guys know if I am going to sell it or not. Because I am still deciding in what kind of car I will get next.:)

Ramon - Like I told you earlier today, I'm glad that you are alive. Were you in a lesser car, you might have been really hurt. Get a good attorney as your aches and pains will stay with you. I would highly recommend John Yamane. He's a good frend and one of the top tort attorneys in Hawaii.

Also, I may be selling my black cab soon as I'm working on getting another P car.

Are you going to be able to get/exchange parts, i.e. aftermarket parts, from the car?

Sorry to sound like a vulture. But hopefully if you can you can at least make up some cash on the $$$ you put into your car.

A sad day indeed!

Sorry to hear that. Its amazing if you look at it, the cars crumple zone worked exactly as advertised, no intrusion in the rear passenger compartment.

damn ramone... good to hear that your ok and sorry to hear about your car .. BMW's are built like rocks... I've seen MUCH worse in the E36 M3's and people still walking away from the accident ok, minus some bumps and bruises...

on a side note, what were they asking to buy it back?

and can u get any of the aftermarket stuff on the car right now, off?

dibs on headlights, billet radiator, oil, diagnostic caps if you can.. sorry.. had to get my plug in...

I will see what the doctors says. Let me know around how much and also let me if you decide to sell the red one instead.:D But still deciding which car to get?

Sorry to sound like a vulture. But hopefully if you can you can at least make up some cash on the $$$ you put into your car.

Thanks. My friend took out some of my aftermarket parts off and put back the stock ones on. But there is still alot of good parts on the car still on it.

They still wanted $2,500 to buy it back. I was thinking about it but didnt have anyroom for it. Also when she hit me. My car was in first gear, so I think the tranny might not be good also.

Sorry to hear that. Its amazing if you look at it, the cars crumple zone worked exactly as advertised, no intrusion in the rear passenger compartment.
Thanks. Lucky that i have tint also. Because that was the only thing holding the rear window.

Thanks. They wanted $2,500 to buy it back. My friend took off some of my aftermarket parts off for me amd replace it back with the stock ones. But the vaders I bought off you are still in the car. When I got hit, my front seat was leaning all the way back from the impact.

Some of the other parts I left in the car was the uuc pullies, uuc tranny mounts, rogue rsm's,brmbo cross drilled rotors, nr silver guages, aa pedal set, ac rear window spoiler, suspension, rh wheels, x-brace,and superprint exhaust.

Whoever gets the car from the auction, will get lots of good parts off of it.

I'm glad you're okay! It'll take a long time for the neck and back pains to go away. Take care.

Whoa, main thing is your okay!
+1 on Beastie's suggestion on John Yamane, he's actually a really cool guy, NOT what you see on TV!:lol
Damn, $2500 might not be too bad! I know parting a car out is a PITA but there are alot of good things on your car!
Take care and hope those aches and pains go away.

$2,500??!?!?!?!?!

damn I wish I was around, I'll pitch in on helping to buy it back, if we can find somewhere to put it...

When I get back I'll take it all apart, part it out, put parts on ebay/BFC and do all the leg work if someone is willing to pick it up and store it...

let me know

i forgot about the pullies and everything else

easily $5K plus in parts if you pull the tranny/motor

G. Zeus Age Cries!

Glad to hear you walked away from it.
When I had my bike accident, I also went to Leavitt Yamane & Soldner, but I got Jim Leavitt, didn't know about the good referrals for Yamane at the time.

WHOA!

Glad to hear you feel all right. Just be sure to check yourself out really good. Be aware of how you feel in the mornings when you first awake and try to notice any aches and pains in the neck, back, hips, shoulders, & leg joints.
You don't want this to haunt you for the rest of your life.
It's not so much about sueing the next person, but about your quality of life or lack there of due to this accident.
Bummers you really couldn't avoid this from happening...damn inattentive drivers!

As for the car, it's just that...a car, albeit it is has a lot of aftermarket goodies on it and it saved your life. However, I wouldn't fret about it much and it doesn't seem you are either.
What's important is how you feel now and in the days to come.

Take care and I think you'll need a better doctor than you'll need a good attorney.

Thanks for the good information.:) When I had the accident, the cop and tow truck driver was suprise I didnt get mad about what happen to my car at that time. All I was concern that the driver that hit me was ok even thou it was her fault. Because I can replace a car anytime and start all over again with a new project but with a life you cannot replace.

I'm sorry about the accident. I'm glad to hear that you have a positive outlook on things though. :) Just make sure you take care of yourself as much as possible. You don't want an injury that haunts you forever.

To all the vultures still talking about trying to find a way to buy his car, you guys are the type of people who made me shred my car into tiny pieces rather than sell it.

Damn Ramon,

I hope you are okay? Sorry to see a beautiful car like that get totalled. It is idiots like that driver that hit you that makes me scared to drive around in my cars especially my 97 M3 Sedan. Where would I find a replacement here?

Well the main thing is that your car saved you.
