Two brand new Continental Conti Sport tires on the rear 245/40-17

All of the above items have been done in the last 2 1/2 years. The clutch is 1 1/2 yrs old.

Total parts $5,900
Labor $4,500

Total $10,400

This car is almost all sorted. There are a couple of things that aren't done and/or issues. I just did a full tune up consisting of oil, oil filter, plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor, and valve adjustment before driving to 5er Fest in May of this year.

Headlight aim control does not function, go figure!

Missing tow hook covers (I have brand new ones, not installed or painted)

Stereo did not work when I purchased car. It had a massive stereo and alarm system and phone system. All of this was ripped out by me as it did not function. There are Three linear amps on a carpet covered board w/ soundstream crossovers. Also I have the mounting board that was under the rear deck that held two 10" subs. I am sure that the amps will work if hooked up to a new system. You can also have the Sony head unit and remote CD changer that came in the car. I'm not sure if this is functionable but may be. I'm not electrical savy for sure.

The Alpina valve cover will be swapped out for a black krinkle coated one.

The car was repainted, original color, about 3 years ago prior to my ownership. It is in very good shape. There are a few small stone chips. Overall paint condition I would say is an 8 out of 10.

The wheels have just been polished and look great on the black car.

That's about it. As you can tell, I have put many thousands of $$$ into the car. It does not need much, very well sorted.

There may be 30 - 40 of these cars in the U.S. A euro converted U.S. 535i went recently on ebay for $12,800 so I am thinking $12,000 for a car that you will surely be the only one around that has one. You can't put a price on originality.

Here are a few pictures, I can e-mail you more and bigger ones.

Thanks for the bandwidth

honestly, everything seems good up until the ac issues. Perhaps get that sorted out, then an even 12000 may be good.

On the other hand, your car is the baddest m535 ive seen in the US, so the price is worth whatever you say from that perspective

Howdy - My buddy Anita mentioned she knew your car at Vintage in the Vineyard today.

I was wondering about the exhaust leak [Exhaust leak at the connection of the one manifold to down pipe (Stud broke off when I did my clutch)]. Could you detail that a little more and what needs to be done to fix it?

Regardless, you've got an amazing e28 and im sure whoever purchases this wont be even the slightest bit disappointed. Best of luck! :wave

Tom

Not sold yet. I'm just sorting out a few things to make the car more complete. Yes, the A/C will be operating before someone buys. I also just replaced the oil pan gasket and if you know anything about an m30, you know what a job that is. No more oil leaks under car. I am also polishing the T-stars and putting new rubber on the rear tires. I will have new pictures up next week.

Some new pictures with the polished throwing stars

Also, will be adding e34 big brakes 302mm front and 300mm rear before sale
Just did oil pan gasket and if you know about an m30 oil pan then you know how much of a job this is worth.
Brand new Conti sport 245/40 series tires on rear wheels.

No previous records on the car, but why would you need them? It is practically new.

I'll pay for your one way ticket here and that will make it only a 7-8 hr drive.:D

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I really don't want to sell, but I must, need the $$$. One thing about this car, is that if you like to be one of a kind, this will do it for you. There maybe 30-40 of these cars in the country and I would bet none with this color combo.

No, the stock wheels for this car were metric sized wheels with TRX tires. The wheels on the car now are stock from an e34 M5. I think they really set the car off.

I am not advertising the car locally as I would like to have it go to a true enthusiast that will take good care of her. If you've never driven a really nice e28, you don't know what you're missing. This car is super fun to drive and the m30 puts down plenty of power. Just ask Alpina why they put an m30 into an e30 M3. Plus, you can haul 4 people comfortably.

Are there any issues with the a/c ?as i would be driving to florida after pick -up.... its either yours .the red m5 ...listed on the forum or a 190 16valver mbz currently on ebay ......
