Been twice, same old thing. A lot of the people now seem to be into just visuals...sort of sad. And $20 to see those cars?? Haha.

However, the caravan is fun as hell and I think may do that and then meet up with some friends @ UCSB for the day.

car is down at the moment, changing radiator, water pump, thermostat, tranny oil, and still waiting on the parts, plus I don't have a front license plate and don't feel like going to DMV to get one, among other things

Radiator is like 30-40 mins on an E36...t-stat is really quick, water pump with the right tools is another 15-20 mins and well tranny oil is like a few mins (being manual). I would have to say those are somewhat weak excuses haha.

The license plate is somewhat legit but with the hundreds of cars going you may be able to sneak under the radar...and a fix-it ticket isn't the end of the world IMO.

I recommend the caravan if you've never done it, as it can be crazy.

I'm not saying there aren't cool cars, no doubt there is. However, a good deal of the community seems focused on body kits, lights and other visual aids instead of building the "Ultimate Driving Machine." Of course this is only my opinion.

My slightly broken front suspension is now positively scary sounding - I wince over ever jolt at the sound and the feel of it.
