I was wondering if there is any way to keep the antenna from coming up. I use the ipod with the cassete adapter, and yet the antenna still comes up. I personally think the car looks way better with it down. Is there a certain fuse that I can take out?

Depends on what year your car is, if it is a U.S. spec M6 then it probably has a remote amp.
Unfortunately the fuse that powers the antenna also powers the remote amp in the trunk, so pulling the fuse won't work. Similarly, the signal the radio uses to operate the antenna also turns the amp on and off. The answer would be to put a switch to deactivate the antenna, but wires would have to be run all the way to Connector 219 next to the antenna in the trunk to do this.
Thank you that is great information.

That would be neat to have a little switch under the dash to turn activate the antenna, doesnt seem like it would be too bad of a wiring job either.

If you go in the trunk, open up the right side of it and you will see the power antenna. I had the same problem months ago and I just removed the ground, seems to work(or not work) fine

Removed the ground? So you disconected the wire connecting to the body of the car?

Just unplug the connector to the antenna. The power amp should not be affected.

If you are planning on not using the antenna I recommend the switch that sounds like a neat idea. I would just split the ground cable and run it to the dashboard. it is good to keep that motor and mechanism working so it doesn't seize.
Goodluck.
Thanks for all the advice guys.
