I've got an '87 with a busted nose. it doesn't hit the hood or cause major problems, but it's bad. has a previous repair by someone who apparantly didn't know the proper profile for the car and just puttied it to a too sharp point. Then, it's been hit since so it's cracked besides.. and the kidneys are bent up. So.. should i just get it puttied up properly? (I have an '86 with a good nose for the shop to compare to) or should i get a whole new clean nose and put it on.. if that is the recommendation, how difficult is it. Doesn't look bolt-on! Also how obtainable are good kidneys? (don't go too far off track on that one)

If you have a good nose and are letting a shop do the work, definitely let them put it on! Here is a thread showing the details:

Search the net to find the cheapest, but here is one source for Grills:

Oops. I just saw that the "good nose" is part of a whole car!! Still the thread shows what is involved.
