Is this the same as the other 16:9 monitors being sold on eBay?
The price is less than most of the others but I'm not familiar with the term "Bortmonitor"

THe price is good but 82 dollars to ship? That makes the price just about even with everyone else.

That's why they do it. It's a popular scam - a low price for the item with ridiculously high shipping. Technically it's a violation of eBay policy because it's a form of fee avoidance - you only pay eBay fees on the selling price, not the shipping cost - but eBay doesn't seem to care anymore.
BTW, "bordmonitor" is German for "on-board monitor."

I wrote the guy asking for a break on the shpg but haven't heard back. The item's in Maryland and I'm only down the road in Virginia. Doesn't seem like 80+ bucks is right.
