Ahhh, yeah,I have to clean mine,do I just blow the dust out, then re-apply that spray(cant remember what its called),or do I wash it,then let it dry,or just say fuk it and buy a new one?I think mines dirty,I'm going to take it off today and have a look at it.

What I did was buy a K&N Air Filter cleaner at Canadian tire, it comes with a spray that you rinse off with water after a bit, and then the grease.

Seems to works well for me, I think cost 35$ roughly and it will last forever, i only clean my filter once a year.

I forgot I had one of those kits,I cleaned it this afternoon, going to go out to the garage and see if its dry, then spray it down with the sealant stuff. Then re-install it.

Do you notice a difference when you clean it?

I dont know yet, haven't taken it out for a drive yet,but I did get quite a bit of dirt out of it by just knocking it on my boot before cleaning it.The water was pretty dark when I rinsed it in the sink.

Let me know, because to be honest I never really heard or felt a difference. But I sure as hell got a lot of dirt out of there!

Well my daughter and I took the 5er out for a drive today, and I noticed quite the difference in sound(could hear the whine),to better performance.I think my car was starving for more air,as my filter was pretty dirty.
