Hey
Just wonder if the orange part in the light can be removed?
As the orange makes it look Shi*t!

Hope to hear from someone soon

yes. they can be removed by opening up the headlight. make sure the datestamp on your headlamps are 9/02 or earlier as anything newer has some new glue that is next to impossible to soften to open the headlights up.

How did you get the clear turn signal part in there? Was that under the orange? or did you just cut the orange of the rear corner of the "sport" lights. I'd like to keep the clear diffuser in there like you have on yours, can that be done? If I open the lights and remove the whole amber I can see... what would that look like?

to the OP, I was thinking the same thing... the orange looks like poop.

Sorry but I havent actually done it to my X5. But to answer your question, go to X5world, and search under articles http://www.x5world.com/articles/x5/lights/. You should find what your looking for within there. Tons of info and DIY'ers for your E53 beast.
