I am in the process of upgrading/change thrust arms. THought I would do it myself. I was trying to remove the bolt on the subframe so I was turning the steering wheel to allow space for me to remove said bolt. The bolt head got caught on the center link & as I turned the wheel I managed to bend that 14mm grade 8 bolt to a nice 45 degree angle. I hope I did not do any damage to the center link or rack. Gee... I wonder what that tension was as I turned the wheel? (duh)
oh well, so much for having my wagon ready for the spring fly fish trip...
thnx for the ears...if anyone thinks I may have done other damage, let me know (the steering seems to operate smoothly, for now)
