View Full Version : ///Valley Motorwerks Special : Free Shipping on the World's Best Shift Knob
Alex@VMwerks 04-24-2007, 08:05 PM Valley Motorwerks Special!
Walter likes to call this the "World's Best Shift Knob". and I 100% agree.
We both run this in our cars, and it is the nicest shift knob IMHO you can buy.
It weights excatly 5.4 ounces, 3 inches tall, and it is weighted much more than most stock BMW knobs.
This knob comes in both 5 and 6 speed.

95///M3 04-26-2007, 12:05 PM Not to be a dick or anything, but you do realize this is priced SUBSTANTIALLY over the Stealer right?! Hmmm....
Camoflash 04-29-2007, 07:23 PM ^^ this is a weighted knob vs the stock leather wrapped knob w/ M emblem
Would you be interested in doing an actual group buy for a cheaper price?
Bring The Noise 04-30-2007, 11:00 PM Free shipping to Canada???? CMON I know you wanna ;)

+1, I'd be willing to place my name on a list here in the near future. What does the stock knob weigh?
herragge 05-01-2007, 01:38 AM So just to get this right, this is a weighted shift knob with ///M leather and the the M sticker right?
Camoflash 05-01-2007, 01:47 AM Its also shorter

Thank you for clarifying. This IS the WEIGHTED knob. The unweighted one is MUCH cheaper.
I would be willing to host a gb on this if there is enough interest.
If you can gather 10+ for this, I would be happy to go through with a gb.

PM me, I can work something out for you.
So just to get this right, this is a weighted shift knob with ///M leather and the the M sticker right?
It is not an overlay, it is OEM leather, and yes it is weighted.
bmw4wmb 05-01-2007, 05:19 PM +1 for GB, especially if you could preserve the free shipping.
dswads34 05-02-2007, 05:02 PM add me to the GB list depending on price
edit: anybody have an installed pic in an e36?

dswads34 05-02-2007, 07:52 PM ^^^ thanks
To avoid quoting myself... what is the weight of the stock e36 (325i if it makes any difference) knob? I suppose I can always pull mine off, but it's kinda old and the outside is cracked and I'm afraid of breaking it! Just trying to get an idea of the weight difference.
jensklemp 05-02-2007, 08:31 PM Any chance that you can get it without the ///M? If so I could be interested.
Alex@VMwerks 05-03-2007, 05:44 PM ^^^ thanks

If I find a stock shift knob around I will find out for you.

I haven't seen one with the exact same shape without the ///M, but if I do Ill let you know.

Got your knob out today! :)
Thanks!
Alex@VMwerks 05-22-2007, 03:57 PM bump!
Again, this is NOT the ZHP knob. Although they look identical this knob weighs more than the OEM ZHP knob.
e36'n 08-24-2007, 05:27 AM Do you know the exact weight of the OEM ZHP knob?
