I picked up my car yesterday, and when I changed the audio source to Sirius, it said I had to subscribe. I guess I thought BMW would have arranged that for me.

Anyway, I just tried to start a subscription online and I'm asked for the receiver's ID/ESN number.

Can someone tell me where this number is?

The number showed up on my idrive screen and so did the phone number, I just called and set it up.

On XM, it appears in the display when you tune to channel 1. I'd try that.

yeah you have to turn the right knob i believe and the serial number will appear. you get one year free.
