After playing with the standard cruise control on our 07 328i, I'm impressed. It's nice having a dedicated stalk just for the cruise, but I'm still getting used to hitting it and not the turn signal. The little light around the speedo that shows speed is pretty cool too. Just thought I'd share my thoughts :) .

Don't feel bad, I've had mine for months and still flash the brights when trying to adjust the cruise. :mad

I wish you could bump the speed up or down, though... unless you can and I just haven't figured it out yet.

On mine, a single quick push on the lever toward the front of the car increases speed by 1 mph and a longer hold push increases it by 5 mph each. Same but pull back to reduce speed by 1 mph or 5 mph respectively. Is that what you meant by "bump"?:shifty

Yes. Sweet. Thanks.... Obviously, I am just getting accustomed to the new ride.

What I like is that the cruise uses the brakes to maintain a constant downhill speed. If you pull back a couple of times and reduce the speed by 10-15 mph quickly it will also use the brakes.

BMW definitely should have put the stalk on the opposite side of the wheel. It was that way for the E36 and was much easier, never got it confused with the wipers, but constantly hit the brights or blinkers while using it now.
