I will be detailing a co workers white E36 325i for 100 bucks on wednesday, i looked at it and the paint doesnt look too bad. He just bought the car and wants it cleaned up, and wants the swirls gone. He mainly wants the interior cleaned up, but also wants shiney paint. I have a PC and orange, white, grey, and blue pads. I also have XMT3, XMT2, Klasse AIO and SG, and Pinnacle Souveran. Since it is white, i was thinking i could go straight from XMT3 to wax to save some time because i need to finish it in about 4 hours. Any tips for the white E36?

shouldnt i do souveran instead of SG? i thought liquid souveran was designed for light colors, especially white.

souveran and SG are two completely different products that are not equal substitutes for each other.
i would chose to leave out the souveran rather than leave out the AIO + SG.

you seriously think that SG will look better than souveran? i have to detail the car today at 2 o clock so a few more responses would be helpful.

SG for sure as far as durability and shine! Depth would be increased with the souveran but i wouldnt use souveran without a coat of SG between it and the AIO (for the sake of durability). I always do AIO->SG->Carnuba Its the deadliest of all combos :D
I did a white e39 touring a couple months ago and just did a standard polishing followed by AIO cleaner topped with SG (no carnuba) and the result was stunning
