I know where a real CSL lives. The car recently moved to the Ham from WA state. Spoils of a divorce. Yes, it lives outside. The woman who owns it brought it over from Germany back in the late 1980's.

That's a CS, but still a nice find.

Jack Joyner once told me about a friend of his who has a CSL and a CSL replica. Serious money, those cars. Not something you see on the streets.

Nice shot ot the csl under wraps, just the Alpina wheels peeking out as a clue to what lies beneath.

You can see the front fender splitters, too. The owner is pretty cool. Her DD is a minty red 635, and she's very much aware of what she has under the cover.

Yeah, those damn attorneys :D overcharging for a suit that may even settle before getting to trial...it gets very expensive during the discovery phase...but hey, to get money, you've got so spend a little...very similar to getting a date...;)

I probably know the guy that JAck was talking about, he lives up in Ft payne, has about 4 or 5 CSL's and a whole warehouse just for his BMW collection.
