Hey,
The kid took my old 93' 325is to a Car control clinic sponsored by BMW. He had a blast! After o the way home got a vibration at > 50. Think the old alignment is out or ?? Thanks!

Alignment doesn't normally cause vibration. Take your car to a tire shop and have the balance checked. Have them also look for flat spots on the tires and bends in the wheel. Good luck.

maybe thrust arm bushings or sway bar links? i had a shimmy between 45 and 60. replaced the bushings and it was gone.

Has to be a balance issue. Track probably did a number on the tires.

Had to increase tire pressure to 40 front and 43 rear for all events. Included hard turns and stops, spin out on wet surface for control, high speed quick lane changes, laps around with hard braking then rapid accelerations after apex, slolom runs (different distances and verity of turns) with traction control off. I don't think the smile came off his face all day. Anyway he wants to do the Autocross next weekend and then I bring the 93' in for balance and alignment.

Hell, the Driver Control Clinic sounded like fun, so I paid the $50 for the 2 days with my 323i convertible automatic with sport package, I had no problems luckily, definitley need a stick (5 speed) to compete. The fastest car there was a 318 will all Dinan stuff for turns (light and pinned you to the window or driver) and the M3 vs Ford GT 500 . All the instructors were great fun.

Sounds like a blast! I wish the wifey would surprise me with something like that for my bday. I've given enough hints!

Take her for her birthday if you have two cars. There were all kinds of car brands there. Both of you will have a blast, and they treat you to lunch for $100. It is a steal. There was a kid with a permit that his Dad brought a rental car for it, I believe it was a Nissan Versa??.

Check if there is anything stuck on the rim like tape or something. I have a SMALL amount of snow one time and got a vibration above 40. :)
