Does anybody have any suggestions for a shop that does good work reasonably?
I know you're not supposed to resurface BMW rotors but I got a killer deal on some E36 Euro's floaters and I'm hoping that after the resurface they'll still exceed the recommended minimum thickness.
Thanks!

Take it to Jon at Hawaii Kai 76 and see how much he'll charge you. Maybe he can tell you if it is worth it too.

Back when I was at Redline I did all the resurfacing, and I think it was $15 each. Now I wouldn't recommend anyone going there...

Just dropped off at Okuhara's.
Damn, that's a huge place but no one seems to be working there! What's up with that???

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm never in Hawaii Kai during operating hours!:(

Just picked up my rotors. Looks like they did a good job.
Only sad thing is that they're closing shop. Retiring and doesn't seem like anyone wanted to take the business over. Too bad!:(

All the shops I used to go to when I was in High school are all gone now.

The area that's now Walmart & Sam's used to have a ton of shops that did everything from machining to plating.

The ones in Kakaako are going too as the land value has put them out.

The greatest sadness I feel about the Sam's Club/WalMart area are all the quality drinking establishments that were lost! I'm sure Beastie will agree with me on this one wholeheartedly!:D
Kinda sad, losing all the small family owned shops.

head out to electra's in Pearl City. It will bring back a few memories of those "fine drinking establishments"

I know, I know, but mine are vibrating like crazy and this is a pair of Euro rotors that I got a deal on and I wasn't in the mood to pay over $200 for a new set.

Nope, lots of shitty tires but no name brand to be found.
