Yeah those 20's are awfully big on that e36 m3 but still nice though overall just better be really, really careful when hitting dips or bumps. From 18s to 20s will make quite a difference.

Yeah the flat4 is my friend Mark's 2006 WRX. He's gonna be doing stage 2 tune & probably turbo upgrade pretty soon. He says he can build WRX faster than STi for the price which is probably true, all depends on what you do.

yeah, i looked at a stock m42 dyno and the engine loses power after 6k so that's when i shift.... unless i forget then the rev limiter just reminds me.:)

remember i got the dinan chip as well. and dinan say's you get peake HP at 4200 rpm which means i shift around 5200 or something like that so it will alwaus stay at peake right, but for some reason when i shift at 6XXX rpm it gets more top end.

just a heads up for all you local guys... im looking to sell my 99 m3 soon here. it's basically a brand new car with everything that i've fixed on it. i performed a leakdown test a few months back and the most was 5% on one of the cylinders. the rest were 2-3%. its basically turn the key and go without having to worry about fixing anything. the reason im selling it is so i can buy a truck and start building some sort of project car. i'll post up an entire list of modifications when i find a truck that i like.

the unfortunate thing is that it does have 120k miles. it looks more like a 60k mile car though. i have a slight case of ocd when it comes to cars :lol i didnt want to sound unrealistic with the asking price, but i was going to start it at 17k obo. there is alot of time and money invested in this car as far as maintenance and setup. the entire cooling system is new with a stewart pump, entire steering system with a z3 rack, all the bushings, shocks, springs, swaybars, braces, manifold, full exhaust, shark injector + apexi afc neo, etc... the clutch and tranny were replaced by a dealer for the 5th gear detent problem at about 90k miles also. i have over 10k in parts on the car alone, but i dont expect to get any of that back. it just recently put down 225 whp on a mustang dyno and it runs incredibly well.

it actually is garage kept for the most part. i park underground at work and keep it in the garage at home. :D it helps having a place to work on it whenever i want also. my cart and box are the closest in the picture.

Fucking finally, it's alive!!!! Holy fuck, that shit sucked. I got the injectors from Stan last night, and went ahead and pulled the fuel rail again. Then another fucking pintle broke!!!! :mad And guess where it fell? through the fuel port on the intake manifold and into the fucking intake valve!!!! FUCK!!! So I spent pretty much almost an hour and a half using a long probe with fucking double sided tape attached to it trying to get the fucking plastic to fucking stick to the tape. And when I about had it and was going to shoot the fucking car it stuck and came out McGyver style. :D

So after installing the fuel rail back on the car started and ran better, but still not good enough. IT was shaking like crazy......it had to be a vacuum leak, but it was about 5am and I just passed out. Then I just woke up an hour ago, checked the hose.....the one to the cyclone separator was kinked! I was like WTF! But it wouldn't stay unless it was kinked. So I thought, "Well I'll just use a hose from the old setup and add it to it. Well after trying to remember where Shane threw my old hacked up setup I finally found it.......with one of the hoses that came with the kit!! And guess where it connected? Yup it had the angled connector that I needed with the hose to run to the cyclone separator. After putting it back together my fucking ICV hose decided it wanted to fucking fall off, so I had to pull the throttle body again and fix that! After everything went together it started perfect! Adjust the throttle body a bit, then went out for a spin. Yeah it definitely pulls harder now. :evil2

..or you coulda left the plastic debris fall into the combustion chamber, fire it up and let the sucker go KA-BOOM!!!! that's what happened with the left over ones me and TJ couldn't McGyver outta the ports :evil2 damn those things.

After putting it back together my fucking ICV hose decided it wanted to fucking fall off, so I had to pull the throttle body again and fix that! After everything went together it started perfect! Adjust the throttle body a bit, then went out for a spin. Yeah it definitely pulls harder now. :evil2

I finally figured out why my car was mysteriously dying as well...after data logging for 3 days and tuning while driving with the laptop, running 2 redlights and 3 stop signs cuz i was staring at the laptop, trying to adjust my timing and A/F ratios, finally understood why its dying...bad crank sensor...
SO the wisdom of the story guys is:
If your car mysteriously dies, as in while accelerating, and rpms drop to dead zero 0 and do not flinch, then when you pull over and try to fire it up and rpms STILL WILL NOT FLINCH, then you wait 5 minutes and fires right up like nothing has ever happened!!!!.... that ladies and gentlemen is a bad crank sensor!!!! Apperantly, it is a very common problem if your car has anything over 100K miles or approaching it...
I called the dealer and asked for a new crank sensor, and they were like: " OHH WOW, your car has 130K miles and that is the first time you have replaced it!!!! WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW:eek: :eek: :eek: , that must be a record of some kind.."

you do need to drive the car hard before you go to a smog place...running rich at idle sounds like a bad oxygen sensor, most likely the one before the cats...if not oxygen sensor, then you have a leak somewhere, since it it running rich, it is on the intake side somewhere...if it was running lean, it wouldve been on the exhaust side...;)
Timing chain chatters when you rev it up, that is a sign of bad guide rails...while you are in there, it is a great opportunity to replace primary chain tensioner and secondary chain tensioner....they wear off after excessive dirving and many miles...you do not need to replace the chains, i have never, ever, ever, ever heard of or know of anybody that breaks chains ;)...so if shop wants to replace chain...hmm...something fishy, it is not a bad idea, but not necessary...
Please make sure they do your timing right...vanos is very tricky, but of course not impossible...you can do all that work yourslef...all you need is a few torx sockets, a camshaft alignment tool, bell housing tool, 36mm for the primary chain tensioner, a screw driver and 10mm socket ( i have all those tools )...also the vanos cover has a metal gasket, inspect it, you can re-use it, only if its not damaged, also it is a good practice to put some sealant in between anyway... ;)

Well I finally found out today why I have bad gas mileage. :rolleyes

I go to get my car smogged today and as I'm pulling out of my driveway, I see a trail of fluid on the driveway. First I think it's because of the coolant I just filled (lost a lot of coolant changing out my Dinan BBTB for the stock throttle body while car was warm, I'm going to do the coolant bypass on that by the way), and it happened to just spill over due to my poor aim. But then I get out of the car and the fuel line on the bottom is spraying everywhere! I go under and check to see that both lines almost completely backed itself off of the hardened line on the bottom of the car! Fucking previous owner probably fucked that shit up too. So I went ahead and fixed it. Now that and the stock throttle body put on there makes a hell of difference in the hesitation at idle.....there's none!! Now my mpg should go up!

k did a minor tune up taday, oil change engine restorer, clean the air filter and change the plugs they dont make NGK IR for mine but got the BOSH fuzion, well my biggest surprise was that two spark plugs were completly covrered on oil, so iam asuming thats why is running rich, so i think is the valve cover gasket since the thing is leaking on the outside, ill take the car tomorrow to PPR to have ralph look at the M3 and the 318i to see what i can do and what icant do, i am pretty sure i can do it all myself but help is apprettiated

oil on spark plugs is bad spark plug rings, which are inside the valve cover gasket...and yes, you can change those no problem, just change the valve cover gasket as well as the spark plug gaskets, they are 2 sets of 3 rings connected...and oil in spark plugs will cause misfire, thus the combustion cannot happen properly, thus the extra fuel that was not burnt because of your misfire...which in return will cause you to run rich.... ;)

I believe I showed my paintball gun when you came to my house I can't remember. The lid on the hopper is cracked but it stays on but if you go play in a game I'd keep duck tape with you lol. Sounds ghetto but its electric & works fine but the rest of the stuff is fairly new. When you get back let me know & i'll bring the stuff by.

Also Wade I have about 2 cases you can have which is about 4,000+ paintballs lol. They're about a couple months old but I wouldn't use them in a real paintball match but it would be fun just to go shoot off like crazy just make sure you have a sqeegy which I have to clean the gun if you chop a paintball. This gun really doesn't that much but it all depends on the paintballs & pressure setting.

I forgot to mention on the paintball gun DO NOT TRY shooting the $20.00 20 oz co2 tanks on it, all autococker and most higher end paintball guns are only made strictly for nitrogen tanks only. I mean you can shoot co2 but you can freeze the gun and possibly blow the seals and blow up everything else inside which is pretty much just like blowing a engine in a car. I know you used to have a Spyder you said Wade i remember but those you can use co2 & nitrogen but not Autocockers.

But I know the two paintball shops in town that can fix it. They break down after so many games lol. But gun still looks new but mainly when i got shot in paintball field it was on my body.

Paintball gun & the rest of the stuff such as the tanks are "SOLD". Wade if any major problems occur within the first 90 days I'll pay for the damage, so basically thats a 90 day warranty but I doubt that anything would happen. 90 day (WARRANTY)

Thanks for purchasing from me Wade, everything just happens so fast hehe. BUt yeah hope you like it bro, definitely will out handle your Spyder I'm sure, especially in accuracy. I remember my Spyder I had a long time ago but when I went up to this gun it made a difference. Also Wade do not freeze any paintballs with that LED electric gun or you'll ask for it. I've seen some guys freeze there paintballs within a ANS-X E-blade Autococker or the same gun I had which you have now and it didn't look pretty so please dont unless for serious self defense lol.

Those two paintball stores that you have on that paper thats inside the paintball case. I believe one of them is on W. Sahara somewhere & the other one near by you somewhere on Nellis I believe but call them up to double check. Most shops in Las Vegas charge about $3.00-$5.00 to fill up nitrogen tanks all depending on how much air they have.

Jessie if you want my JT mask I'll give it to you because I got a new blue JT mask with forehead visor but I'll give you this one for free plus the case of premium paintball that i was gonna give to Wade but he didn't need them.

Hey John I saw your thread on APril 7th you posted about your idle problem you had after you did your new m50 kit. I'm having similar problem but my idle problem really isn't that bad though, only when in park. It seems like when I leave it park for like a minute the idle clears up which is really weird. My idle problem was due to the Dinan BBTB that I had on the car with no software. I swapped it back out with the stock one and it's been long gone. Also when we did the M50 manifold last weekend we made sure all the vacuum lines were sealed by zip tieing them. You probably have a vacuum leak somewhere. Check the hose going to the cyclone separator. Mine was kinked there causing me problems. My car has been running great ever since.

He just capped the hole for now because GOD DAMN FUCKING "KO PERFORMANCE" piece of shit kit.i guess somehow the nipple that connects to the intake manifold & to where the bottom hose connects is to short so i need to go find a longer nipple Brian said. I'll just contact bimmerworld, s50auto, or eurosport, or even turnermotorsports and see who has a long enough nipple so Brian can take the cap off and put the hose back on.

I swear I feel like making a thread about KO performance & really blowing them off. Brian made me laugh i'll say. He goes there kit is such a POS I can build a kit better just by going to Home Depot and getting all the hoses and feeders lol.

Well i'll say at least my starter is fixed :D I'm sure you all are about to say OH MY GOD ITS FIXED(finally) lol.

Yeah I'm going to get my car tuned next week sometime just gotta find when's the best time to drop my car off at PPR + I can get window tint also because it's gonna be really hot soon. But John, which software did you go with? Did you go with Dinan software, AA software, or just shark injected? From what I heard shark injector software works really well but sicne you're going to be running a full track supersprint headers + AA gen III exhaust I'd definitely invest in like Dinan stage 3 software or AA stage 3 software, it's like $700-800 i believe.

Please fellas, help a brutha out...

You should of went with E36M3E's kit. His was great and fits perfect. Plus he preassembles it, and he has the modified throttle body gasket that omits the use of the stupid metal plate and 2 gaskets.

Word word word man!!!! cool cool, yea weekends work good for me, im off weekends so, works good...
umm..the dyno i used, i used it hourly, so price is different if you want to do hourly or pull by pull...i mean i got like 8 pulls in an hour, and i wouldve done more but i did tuning in between, so thats why i was able to get only 8 out of it, and it was 200 bucks...but if you do may be 2 pulls, i think thats all you are going need, if you just want to dyno it to dyno it and see what you are making, then i would go with pay per pull, which would be cheaper, i can call and ask...im not sure if he does weekends, i think he does saturday may be, but i know either way, he dynos after 5pm...and yes he does SAE correction...and it is DynoJet! :thumbup:

Well I know which hose its coming from. I guess the kit that KO performance sent me is a POS and im gonna see what they can do for me. I know its the one farthest to the back closest to the firewall. Brian from PPR put a cap on it which has helped it out alot.
