Hey guys, I want to seek help on an error code I recieved from a check engine light.
Car: 1999 528i
Milage: 94k
Trans: Auto
Code: P0740 TCC Circuit Malfunction
The code comes on for a couple of days, and goes off for a couple days and back on. The transmissions seems to drive fine with no slippage or that I can notice. I'm not sure whether it can be an electrical issue or mechanical issue. I hope it's not mechanical, I just recently bought the car, freaken seller probably saw the light and sold it, some luck I had. I hope it's something minor so that it wouldn't cost me an arm and leg.
Also when I was driving it once, some of the instrument panel lights would flicker.
