need to know will the box from a 525tds (turbo diesel) fit my 325i? i looked under the 5 and its got a single sump like mine so looks to be a ZF box. the box in my 325i is going into failsafe and the clutches are slipping and i can get this box from the 525tds for £100.

need to know asap so i can put a deposit down and get them to pull it out of the car for me.

no idea - not many here know much about the spec on the diesel models as we dont get them here until next year

- i'd imagine the programming is all different tho - diesel engines torque curves are usually very different than those of conventional engines

yea but the box looks like its a ZF which is whats in mine so i was thinking i could use the box with the trans ECU from mine? speaking of.. where is the trans ECU located?
