Hey has anyone put on the bbk from brembo I believe it comes with front and back calipers or just the front and your choice of drilled or slotted rotors.

btw got the car back from the interior shop 2 months but not bad still a little work to make perfect but the 8 is going into the body shop in a few weeks for some adjustments to the doors etc.

Make sure that you are really gaining something with the Brembo BBK

At one point the Brembo BBK was the Brembo 840 factory brakes with drilled rotors. It has probably gotten bigger since then but the possibility of paying a lot more for the same thing you already have but with a different label:(

I have seen 6 piston caliper set ups recently and I think an 8 piston possibility as well but they were not Brembo.

Brembo normally offers only a front kit. Then I talked to another guy he found another kit 14 inch in the front and 13.6 inch in the rear. 4 piston on all 4 corners.The complete kit is a little over $ 6k front and rear. Let me know if you are interessted I can get you the info.

Nothing against importrp but he's the guy that said there is no rear kit for the 850 available. I found it on my own. And the front kit he quoted me on I found for much less $$$. Granted I am able to buy on a whole sale level.
From what I can tell he gives people a 10% discount which is fair.

i just did a yahoo search for brembo bbk e31 and found a site that has the rears and front calipers for sale 4pot and differnt size rotors drilled or slotted. I know my 840ci comes with brembo 4pot up front but the rears are real ugly

Remember front to rear brake balance is also important.

Nothing like having the rears lock up before the fronts come up to pressure so be careful.
