sarcasmo 04-20-2007, 01:31 PM Wow - GREAT deal. I want, but I just put my kids in private school. I could
have taken the 5K check I just wrote to that and put it into this bike :-(
Damn responsiblity. I'll tell a couple friends who have been looking at bikes for the summer. Good luck!

m.olennick 04-23-2007, 05:33 PM Is it just me or is $5k a bit high? That isn't far from a new bike $2.5k or so?

Seems like a fair price to me. Beginning of the riding season and a few extras. Plus its a 600cc sport bike and nice/clean looking at that. I really want to get back on 2 wheels, but alas I am currently house poor... GL with the sale

I have been out of the market for a long time; it just was curious when a new 600 could be had for around $6.8 - 7.9k. No escaping that this is a clean clean bike. Great luck with the sale.

I agree. Someone might pick it up. But 4.5k to 4k sounds better. Good luck tho.
Xiphos 04-23-2007, 08:55 PM well everyone knows that prices can be talked down dont we? I would love to get 5k, but i know we will find a middle ground. I looked around for pricing before i priced my bike and i saw some other '01 R6's for sale in portland for about 5k and up so i felt i was comparable. Bikes hold their values surprisingly well.

most new bikes are 9k and up, excluding taxes, licensing, etc.
