I was wondering two things. Im looking for wheels for my e21 and wanted to know if i could fit 15'' e30 wheels on the car with spacers, (they have a +15 offset). They are Sportmax wheels made for an e30. Also does anyone know the quality of sportmax and are they worth a try. Any input would be much appreciated.

Are they the 002's? Those are so sexy on E30's. A few E30 guys are running the ET0 15x8's on their E30's, and I think they are pleased with the quality, especially for the price.

No they arent the 002's i havent seen those. These are called 501's they have the gold center with a huge polished lip. The lug pattern is 4x100/114.3 and they are 15"x8". they are priced good but i just dont know if they will fit my e21.

The offset sounds ok. Usually you can run anything from ET10 to 18. But im not so sure if they will fit in that offset at 8 inches wide.

you would be very close to hitting the front guards, or even the spring hangers, trailing arms. all depends on backspace and what tyres your going to run:)
running 17x7's and i had to run a 205/40/17 tyre to clear the guards and everything else with a ET15 offest:)

you'll want to roll the fenders so they don't rub, 15x8 ET15 will have the same fender clearance as 15x7 ET3. i'm not sure about how much space there'll be inside though (suspension clearance will be the same as w/ 15x7 ET27). 15x7 ET 15 definitely fits well, you just have to remember there's an extra half inch on both sides of the wheel on the 8s.

well they are offering them on ebay for 299 and i can buy them within the next 4 hours then it will end. it reads that all sales are final so im not sure if they dont work i dont want to be stuck with them although i could possibly resell them but im still uneasy. how hard is it to roll the fenders? and if they do hit suspension parts is there any alternative to help them avoid hitting, bigger spacers possibly. i heard that the max spacer size on an e21 isnt that big so im not sure.

I have no idea who is selling these particular wheels right now on ebay, but in general it seems like you can always find Sportmax wheels on ebay for quite cheap. Make sure you know what you're getting before rushing in a bid. Also make sure you know of all shipping charges, that's how they sometimes get you. $300 wheelset, $800 to ship...

c2auto.com came up when i googled it. they dont seem to be overcharging for shipping (55.00). i was looking at those 002s but will a 15x8 really fit on an e21? what tires would you have to run, i'm guessing a 205/50 or 45 but (all german stretched rubber love aside) wouldnt that look a little goofy?

ive got 16x8s on my e28 running 225s with a pretty aggressive footprint, and i dont think i'd want to go any narrower on the tires.

oh and the wheels on this 02 are 15x8s with an et15, i almost bought them for an integra i had before my e21, if the 02 needs flares, and the sportmaxes have an even more aggressive offset, wouldnt it need flares too?

this does mean im retracting my comment about the stretched tires looking goofy though.
