View Full Version : BBS RC's refinished
Jontran8 04-18-2007, 08:25 PM My BBS RC's were in pretty bad shape. I got them straightened, and painted the bmw sparkling graphite metallic color. What do you guys think? Should I leave them without centercaps? Use the centercaps with BBS logo? Or try to get a BMW roundel that fits the centercap? Sorry for the bad pics since I used my camera phone.
Cyrix2k 04-18-2007, 08:30 PM Roundel. I think they need something to break them up, but the BBS centers are too much.
samm3 04-18-2007, 08:45 PM Gotta be honest..RCs are one of my favorite wheels...classic...but the color completely ruins the look, should've kept them silver or polished.
Jontran8 04-18-2007, 09:00 PM I like the silver look too, but they were never silver due to all the brake dust.
Anyone know where I can get 78mm roundel stickers?

keikun 04-23-2007, 02:08 PM try a local BBS Dealer

I agree 100%
Hankdoll 04-23-2007, 07:09 PM Black looks good, but the silver bbs centercap & silver logo look all wrong. I'd opt for the black BBS logos and have the centercaps painted too.

agreed
Jontran8 04-24-2007, 05:29 AM Well it's to late for me to change them back to the silver finish. I guess the question now is use the caps with the bbs logo, or use the caps with roundel caps, or just leave the caps off. Seems to be that most people suggest to use roundels, but now I can't seem to find any that fit (78mm).
I'm also for a brighter colour on RC's eg: silver, but if you're keeping this colour, I think it looks better without the centrecap. The centrecap would be too bright and stick out.
GotCone? 04-24-2007, 09:33 AM no center cap = you mean business
I say no caps.
:D
Jontran8 04-26-2007, 02:20 PM Since I can't find 78mm roundel's, I guess I will go without centercaps.

Personally...I love the dark/black wheels. I have a silver car and am thinking about going the same direction. I have tinted windows which I think makes the black wheels look better as well. If I do go black wheels...I will also get the black front kidney grill.
Anyway, hopefully that link will help.

Young Version 05-01-2007, 11:33 PM I think the color is pretty hot.
raceboy614 05-02-2007, 12:54 AM wheels look awesome.
jijacob 05-05-2007, 09:00 PM I would get BMW centercaps. Better pictures might help with the decision though.

Thanks a lot. I think I'm going to go this route since I can't find roundels to fit the caps.
