My 525i touring (station wagon) has only 14500km (9062 miles) on it, and is getting through a litre of engine oil every 2500km (1562miles). The dealer says this is normal. I do not believe it is normal as my last 525 didn't use a drop. Any ideas?

There is a bulletin out from BMW that states that 1 quart per 750 miles is normal. That is the maximum that they call normal. Anything over that they would be concerned.
