Anyone know how to get rid of the daytime running lights on a Canadian spec 06 550i? Will this leave the angel eyes on?

I don't recall if Canadian spec 5-series cars can do this, but there is an option in ROW cars in i-Drive to turn off the DRL's. But switching them off does not leave the angel eyes on.

If you don't have this option in i-Drive, then you need to have the dealer turn them off. I just had mine turned off yesterday. The parking light setting will turn on only the angel eyes, but in auto mode (without the full headlights triggered), nothing illuminates.
