View Full Version : WI/IL Performance shops?
JinXed 02-03-2003, 11:23 PM Hey~ I'm looking for a performance shop, not a dealer, who would rebuild the motor from a 95 M3. I can pull it and put it back in. Would need full top end rebuild from a misshift, (no, not me). Any reccomendations/ experiences. Prefer Milwaukee area, but open to others for quality or price reasons. Thanks. email aleef -at- iastate.edu or AIM: ISUJinX or post here. -JinX
sachin528 02-04-2003, 11:25 AM Why Milwaukee?
OT, if you are in the area PM me. perhaps a meet is in order. Also a group of us are going to Chicago for the Auto Show on the 15 - interested in joining us.
In Milwaukee, I only know of a couple. American IMports does some work, but they specialize in Japanese cars, specifically Toyota's and Honda's. Kilpatricks is another shop, but again he specializes in Chrysler muscle cars. So sorry, can't really help you.

JinXed 02-05-2003, 01:53 AM As for the meets, hell yeah! I'd love to this summer. Also if anyone wants to help with an engine rebuild, I'm going to attempt it with one of my buddies this summer. I just want shop reccomendations in case we need help, or jsut to have them do it. I'm heading out to CO for spring break, so I wont be home for an extended period of time till early-mid May. But my car should be (if everything works out) coming in in a month and a half or so. -JinX

By JAcobs and Jewel-Osco. Know the area well. Interested in a possible hookup? If so, PM me.
Sam M333 02-06-2003, 08:27 AM I'm approximately 5 miles west of 59/164. We can maybe hook up in spring or summer at the autocross or one of the area track even.
