I'm trying to get a group together for the long drive to Bimmerfest on May 5th. Anyone from Georgia headin out? We should coordinate efforts and meet up as we Floridians pass through Georgia.

No, the huge one in Santa Barbara Cali. Last year it had 2-3 thousand cars I think.

I know how you feel. I'm rushing to schedule everything my car needs for the 6-7 thousand mile trip.

I'm just trying to find out if there's enough interest now. If I can get at least a few people down for sure, we'll figure out the best meeting time and place.

Can't make the Cal trip, but keep me in mind for the Euro Fest in Greenville SC in October. I am planning to go and I know of another from Charlotte that is going. Anyone thats planning on coming through Ga. then, let me know and maybe we can caravan.

Drive... to the airport? That's the only way I'm going to California. Well, that or a motorcycle. That would be fun.

I have done the cross country trip twice.. Once in an E30 and once is a huge moving van.

E30 tearing up the roads in the grand canyon.. FTW!!

Bah again. They're not that bad. Besides, highways = better mileage than in-town. :alright

It looks like not many people are willing to forge the 3000+ mile journey with me. I calculated my gas price at about 6-700$. My M3 averages 26-28mpg on all highway tanks.

Anyone for the cross country sprint?
