I was going to get the remus exhaust, intake and have my engine programmed view a sport tuner's download which is now what they do instead of a chip that they used to-anyway the exhaust is supposedly good for 15hp, intake 10 hp and the reprogram good for 25-30 hp-for 50 hp I thought it was a good set up. I was wondering if anyone has done any of these things on any of their bimmers and if it made a difference.

I have the sport package 07 530i. I was also wondering if an intake or exhaust will void a warrenty? I asked about the computer reprogram and they said there was no way for them to know as it just readjusts settings. And exhaust usually is not a problem with dealers but I was wondering if intake would be as far as warrenty goes? I am tempted to not do the intake and just do exhaust and re-program-ok thanks!

the general rule is as long as the mod does not cause the failure then it will not void the warrenty but maybe just to be sure have everything bolt on until warrenty is up that way you can put back to stock should it need to go back to dealer. but being an 07 I would let the engine break in before adding stuff to engine at least until the 4-5 th oil change including the ones that are supposed to be done shorter the scheduled.
