View Full Version : anybody seen this turtle wax "foam away"? is it good? takem2church 04-14-2007, 03:38 AM http://www.autobarn.net/turtle-wax-foam-away-spray.html abrcrombe 04-14-2007, 04:10 AM Never seen it, wouldn't let it touch my car. Nothing beats a proper wash with 2 buckets and some nice mitts. Not ONR, not foam away, NOTHING! Oh, and I don't think your wax will withstand that... so it ruins all the work. rmani 04-14-2007, 04:24 AM for $9 more you can get a nice can of s100 wax from a local harley dealer and it'll do a better job. M3/4 LIFE 04-14-2007, 06:25 AM if you notice it says it's only good for "light dirt and dust". I dont think it would do a good job on anything more than that. I wouldn't trust it on my car. 95 530i PIMP 04-14-2007, 12:54 PM the 'wipe off' step sends chills down my spine scrached paint anyone? Abysalone 04-15-2007, 01:50 PM Ive seen this used as a sort of pre-rinse before washing. Removes alot more than just a plain water pre-rinse. Wanted to add that they never recommended to wipe it off, just spray off with a hose. 95 530i PIMP 04-15-2007, 03:01 PM Ive seen this used as a sort of pre-rinse before washing. They would spray it off, then goto washing it with the 2 bucket method. |
