I have a few questions regarding my newly aquired 2001 X5 3.0i.
1. Rear Foglight - I have the euro switch with rear fog and headlight adjustment, is there a link for wiring up the rear fogs? I found one for the e39, is this similar for the x5?
2. Headlight Adjuster - We have the xenon headlights, can I enable this function? I tend to outdrive my headlights, so it would be nice to be able to keep them aimed down unless I need them. Link for activating this?
3. Seat/Mirror memory - when I unlock the car, the seats stay put but the mirrors revert back to pointing to the ground, on both sides, I figured out the back up assist function, but it's annoying to always have to hit the #2 memory to get my mirrors adjusted, is there a DIY for this?
other than that, I'll read up as much as I can before posting questions about chips, Intakes, and exhaust and other performance mods... I am new to this forum but not to cars. My background has been almost strictly VW/Audi's for the past 12 years, and I have been a member of vwvortex for about 5 years or so, so I'm glad to find this one as a kind of sister forum for that. I look forward to meeting you guys/gals and making new friends.
