Does anyone have a pdf/jpg map of where normally do mountain rides. You know up GA 400, regroup at the Chevron then take off West into the hills.

Some buddies and I are taking our bikes out that way this weekend :redspot

This is a good route starting on 400 to the Dragon, but the drive to Blairsville is good. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&saddr=cumming&daddr=14981+Tapoco+Rd ,+Robbinsville,+NC+28771+(Tapoco+Lodge+Inc)+%4035. 353466,-83.829076&layer=&sll=34.225145,-84.092789&sspn=0.1232,0.2314&ie=UTF8&om=1&z=9&ll=3 4.700977,-84.122314&spn=0.979992,1.851196 (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&saddr=cumming&daddr=14981+Tapoco+Rd,+Robbinsville,+NC+28771+(Tap oco+Lodge+Inc)+%4035.353466,-83.829076&layer=&sll=34.225145,-84.092789&sspn=0.1232,0.2314&ie=UTF8&om=1&z=9&ll=34.700977,-84.122314&spn=0.979992,1.851196)

I don't have the map but here's the route we used to take:

Take 400 north to left turn onto GA-60. We’ll stop at the gas station at the end of 400 to refuel and whatnot. Turn right out of the gas station to go through Dahlonega, taking note of right turn in town just past McDonalds on left. Travel outside Dahlonega on 60 until you reach the rock formation, staying right onto GA-19.

GA-19 will dead end into GA-129; turn left to go over Blood Mountain. Careful here because it is a wide-open, three-lane road that can sneak up on you quickly. Continue on GA-129 over Blood Mountain to a right turn onto GA-180 towards Brasstown Bald. For some reason everyone misses this turn so PAY ATTENTION!!!

Travel approximately one mile to a right turn onto GA-348 (Richard B. Russell Highway). We’ll stop at the top for a nice photo shoot on the right-hand side. Turn right out of the photo area to continue down GA-348. 348 will dead end into GA-17/75 spur; turn left. Continue on 17/75 spur for approximately three miles to dead end into GA-17/75.

Turn left onto GA-17/75 and travel over Unicoi Gap. If need be, we’ll stop on the right-hand side at the top to regroup. Please exercise caution again, as this is a three-lane, open road that can sneak up on you quickly.

At the bottom of Unicoi Gap, we’ll turn left onto GA-180 towards Brasstown Bald. GA-180 will dead end into GA-129; turn left (south). Travel on GA-129 south for a few miles to right turn onto GA-180, Wolfpen Gap (WPG). This is a very tight road with decreasing-radius, off-camber turns and no runoff area, so please be cautious here.

WPG dead-ends into GA-60 at the BP station where we’ll turn left (south) towards Dahlonega. You’ll come again to the rock formation where we’ll stay right (yielding to traffic!) to continue towards Dahlonega. GA-60 runs into GA-400 where we’ll turn right towards Atlanta.

If you want the map PM Bcart1991. I'm sure he's still got it somewhere. :dunno

The route we usually take can be found visually if you just click this link... (www.leftcoastbias.com/tdf/Kotter/Mtn Drive 032104 version 2 11x17.pdf)
