Hamann... who can't figure out BMW wiring properly, so 50% of the controls work in the opposite direction.

they look perfect :cool
MisterPootieCat 04-11-2007, 02:19 PM I've never cared for the M-parallel's. I'm going to hang with the stock elipsoid wheels and save the money for other things.
sleepy740 04-11-2007, 02:54 PM nice wheels...it took me a sec before i noticed the dif from m parallels!
btw, lose the m3 mirrors and get m5 mirrors!
:)

Just three! Sheesh, it's not like I have an Imelda Complex or anything.

I might put the 745i wheels up for sale, and I accidentally picked up a set of E38 16" basketweaves (which don't count for my car because they don't fit over the brakes!) which I should sell.

roys740 04-11-2007, 04:45 PM That's HAWT :redspot
I was actually looking at these for my X5. Very tasty IMHO:eyecrazy
Md750 04-11-2007, 08:07 PM mmmm....i think it's more of the drop that make them look okay to me. they're definitely no 20's;) speaking of 20's, i got dibs if you're selling them. you can just ship them with my exhaust, tb's, and manifolds:D

True, The stock mirror shape goes with the car but I think you will like the M5 style better.

"Going"? The car is basically done with the exception of some more engine power-adders. Please see http://www.robertlevinson.com/seven if you don't realize what's in there.
The M5 mirrors are okay, but they don't grab me enough to be worth the effort to swap. Besides, I've got gradient wide-angle glass in my mirrors which I'm used to.
Funny thing about those Z8 wheels... similar style, but with four sub-spokes instead of the three. Four just seems too much.
What did you do, blow those up to a Pshop 22" size? Do I look like Funkmaster Flex?

<---- Begins search for a good price on M5 mirrors :shifty
oekundar 04-12-2007, 08:57 AM I'm digging the wheels...actually thought about getting some and having the hubs bored out for my e39
Rob Levinson 04-12-2007, 09:10 AM x2.....how else do you think he pays for the option of having 3 sets of wheels ;)
Riiiight. Three sets of wheels in the 7 years that I've owned the car. If you buy a large coffee at 7-Eleven once a day for the same period, you've spent almost as much as all three sets cost.
If you buy Starbucks every day for the same 7 years, you've spent 3X as much, or something just over $10,000.
That's literally "pissing money away".

can you pimp my e38, xzibit???

rsnpride 04-12-2007, 01:49 PM Rob,
How much are you looking to sell those 745 wheels?
Rob Levinson 04-12-2007, 01:57 PM Rob,

$1250, includes tires.
Boston Killer 04-12-2007, 02:15 PM I think those wheels are a nice alternative to M-Pars. I love mine and would not want to go bigger than 18", but for bigger wheels, those definately would be my choice!
Congradz! :)

No slam on Rob - Forgeline are just damn expensive wheels...
Reed Hunt 04-12-2007, 02:37 PM $1250, includes tires.
That's a pretty good deal, especially if there is some actual tread left on the tires!

I looked at the thread but do you know if the ones made for the E39 fit the E38?
Is it plug and play?
Thanks :cool

Wonderful price, I'll get back to you on those wheels, I need to sell mine.
