I was looking at the entry list and it showed two people on a wait list...which usually means it's full, but, only 50 entries as of today with a max. of 120...so I'm not sure what the waiting list is there for. :dunno:

I ran with these guys last year at Carlisle Fairgrounds circle track... they seemed nice, but it will likely be a smaller crowd to which we're accustomed. I think they run near Hagerstown once a year too!!!

I think they run at Hershey Giant Center which is supposedly a huge lot, but I'm not sure about the mall site.

Hershey is a huge lot, I have heard the Park City lot is small.

You can only run up to to 230, only 30 cars per heat x 4 heats = 120 cars

So, I would change that or else they are gonna stick you in the 1st heat wherever they feel like it

Mike is a great guy. he is fast, and very enthusiastic about the sport. He is a great instructor too. If you can, get him to ride along with you on one of your runs.

It's not just about the motor; if you really do have 17x8 wheels, then you belong in STX. 7" wide wheels is the limit in STS and 225 is the max tire size legal for STS.

Park City is OK, maybe a bit smaller than Ripken Stadium and the road surface isn't as smooth.

I was out of town the past 3 weeks and forgot to ...um mention to my wife that I wanted to go to this. I was at the Volksfest all day today.

I definitely need to run the MCoupe, it's been dormant in the garage for months.

theres another autox at Boeing in Philly as well. Christ there is too much motorsports today. I could go to summit and go racing i could go to two auto-x or i could go to some challenge thing at maple grove.

Had a great time there, saw a couple of you guys. My best time was 55.6

didnt get any of the tsx, but i saw you out there. i stopped taking pictures when i realized my camera blows and i need a DSLR. morgan let me shoot with his d50 for a while and i switched back to mine during the second heat and didnt shoot any after that b/c i was so jealous.

i'm going to have to agree about the coupes. spencer and rotorhead represented.

Everywhere else Acura is Honda, they just put the badge on for Americans so we feel we are getting somthing rich (acura) and not poor (honda)

Yep exactly, Honda makes Acura, Nissan makes Infiniti, Toyota makes Lexus... The Acura/Infiniti/Lexus thing is quite honestly the Japanese Car Companys going: lets exploit how stupid americans can be.

For Example, when Lexus first came out in the 80's, they couldnt sell a car, everyone was thinking, its a Toyota with leather seats, whats the big deal... then they doubled their prices, all of a sudden the cars started selling like crazy...

Everywhere else in the world the Acura TSX, is Actually an Honda Accord Euro, there is no such thing as an Acura.

And its been a big thing at the Import Car Scene to go "JDM" (Japanese Domestic Market) personally I dont really care about the Import Scene, I care about making my car more fun to drive, and looking good, to me the grill/lines on the Euro are much cleaner then that of the TSX, so I changed it over. I cant post pics, but if anyone wants to do a google, you'll find pictures of the TSX with the Generic Acura Front, the two fake chrome wings, wrapped around by a fake chrome grill... The Euro Grill is body colored.

Its fine if anyone doesn't understand, Im a Moderator over on TSXClub, and I gotta tell ya, we even have arguments over there, in which some guy refuses to believe his Acura is in all reality a lowly Honda... :rollseyes:

Yeah, I have the 325i with CSL wheels, M3 body stuff, and clears. I could have competed, but I just turned 200,000 miles, and I am afraid of breaking stuff.

I was with him. That was salvia.d. He was playing with my camera.

I had a red/brown stripe polo with jeans. I drove the 325i with M3 CSL wheels, M3 Bumper, lowered, M3 mouldings, clears and such.

I ran a 48.2 on my third run. I was sitting on the FTD when I left....(I saw the first runs in the 3rd heat). Not sure if Marcus beat me, or if that DM Lotus Europa did either.

It was still kinda chilly during the first heat, I had NO traction on the first run, and there was a lot of debris on course. Even though they swept it. THEN the hour delay after the first run due to a timing issue....tires went cold again. :(

I think a mid to low 47 was very possible later in the day, with heat in the tires and some more rubber laid down on the track.

I never ran with those guys before, but I had a great time. It was funny, I only knew like 2 people there, but a lot of people sure knew my car. So much for trying to fly in under the radar to a new region.

Time to get the car ready for a 2 day event in Cumberland this weekend! See you there BIGGIN's! :D
