This weather is killing me,I want to put my summers on so bad.Is there any real snow in the extended forecast??I'm thinking about putting them on early next week? I'm also thinking that maybe the end of this month,beginning of next we should get together for a coffee and tell some war stories and drool over each others cars??Then maybe go for a cruise,anyone interested,and know of a good route with lots of twists and turns??:buttrock

Im deffinitly down, I know 5 or 6 other guys that would come too. I put my summer tires on about 2 weeks ago, had a bit of a traction issue with the snow lately but nothing to terrible

Yeah,I'm thinking the same thing,but I wanted to wait till we're pretty much out of the woods for the snow thing.Thats why probably mid next month is a good time??Plus the show-n-shine is in June at Bavaria as well.Last year we met by second cup in Terra Losa on 170st.

Have any of you guys tried Highway 37 between Highway 2 and Onoway (Highway 43)? It's real short but its the best driving road I know about.

Thanks Athabascan,I don't know too many troops over there right now,about 8,as the battle group is mainly out of Gagetown NB.But I know a lot that will be going over on the next rotation,as they will be coming out of 1 Brigade,which is here and Shilo...etc.I've been retired since Feb of this year,did 20 yrs,it was fun,saw some awesum stuff and a lot of not so awesum...lol.I was over in Afganistan in 02 when we lost the troops to the friendly fire incident In April of that year.I know how they feel over there,and I hope the rest come home safe...God Speed.

If the oilfield dudes have magnetic anomaly detectors that will pickup iron ore deep underground when they are flying at 8000 feet, how come we can't detect a pressure plate (on top of what I presume is artillery shells) from 10 feet away?

Peronsally I think if we want to cruise we should wait till the clean the streets. Last year everyone was getting pretty excited spinning their tires and what not but it shot a bunch of gravel onto some of the cars......just my 0.02

I totally agree with you,thats why I'm hoping that by mid next month the city should be well under way on clearing the streets.I have to replace my windshield on my 540,I'm going to wait till the end of next month ,so hopefully the streets are clear by then.

Yes i fixed the window. Now i'm looking for an E30 for a winter beater. The 320 is going to my daughter. My 13 year old son wants an E30 when he turns 16 so i'm looking for a project we can work on together and that way i don't have to drive the M3 in the winter.
