Veedubbvr6 05-11-2007, 05:53 PM why can't you guys do cars with spacers? :shifty
Yea, WTF is up with that?? Totem Lake did my GTi with spacers no problem but as soon as I take the Bimmer into Lynnwood they said they couldn't do anything with the fronts....???... I guess they are franchised so each one may be a little different from the other. :dunno

I hear ya, it can be really frustrating!:mad
enzof355f430 05-12-2007, 12:24 AM we do them...but not to long ago we didnt. It is just a liability for us. Not everyone on the crew knows what they are, and if they arent put on right, some how, it becomes our responsibility. Plus even though your car may be legit, some people use spacers that allow only 3-4 threads into the lug nut/bolt. It is just much easier if we dont do them. Same thing with wire wheels, but i surely hope you dont have wires on your bimmer. :) If ya bring your car to me in Spanaway, ill balance um for ya. :)

but...if you don't put em on right, it is your fault...now if the spacers aren't right, or the bolts aren't right, then it's the owners fault.
enzof355f430 05-12-2007, 09:19 PM yes theoretically, but you shouldn't be to surprised about the number of attempted lawsuits when something is done with the owners consent and the wheel comes off while driving. Ever heard of the lady suing McDonalds for serving her "too hot" coffee? We just don't deal with them for a security reason, no matter what the theoretical facts are.
