View Full Version : Just moved from FL to Irving, TX - Wanted to say hello to my fellow Texans!
mt3ch 04-10-2007, 08:48 AM Hey guys. Just wanted to say hello to all my fellow Texans!
I just moved from South Florida where I have been pretty active in the whole bmw community. Ive also known Kevlar for many years.
Anyhoo....I just picked up my 97 M3 yesterday and I really just want to knock out some maintainence on it before I do any serious modding. I bought the car to be a reliable daily driver for the next year or so while I transition it into a track car.
Here is a video me and my friends made back home : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_HMytPo2ng
Im driving the M5 :buttrock
Take care and looking forward to meeting everyone!
Justin :alright

The E39 is a 528i. The E60 is the only M5 there. :redspot
Ill get you pics soon. I ran the E60 M5 at Sebring and Moroso at FL so im a regular track junkie as well. also ran my 330zhp at both tracks.
Getting married kind of forced me to sell my car....but now I have an M3 so im happy.
Thanks for the welcome and looking forward to meeting everyone.
Whos the resident mechanic??? Im going to be needing some work done soon and Id rather buy some enthusiasts grub and make a Sunday outta it!
Later!
Justin
These are 2 pics of my 330zhp. And yes...I was tracking with 19" HRE's!!!! What a waste of money!

The new owner has added additional mods, but I guess he never emailed the site owner, JMWEB, to tell him what had been done.

Help me get my car setup and dialed in and I will start tracking like crazy. I can already tell that the stock E36 M3 is faster than my 330 modded. :lol Probably something to do with LSD and more trq.

I dunno how far San Antonio is from Irving. I think pretty far right??? Well if you are handy with a wrench, I need to start replacing the suspension parts on the car and do the brakes. Let me know if you are interested. We could do like a meet in Irving or something and it would be a good way to meet everyone!!!

Its all routine maintainence stuff. I wanted to rebuild the suspension and put new pads/rotors on the vehicle. I also have my wifes beetle turbo that I need to do stuff too.
I left all my tools back in FL so I also need to go buy a set of tools as well. Got a 2 car garage here at the house in Valley Ranch and just figured id put it to good use.
Let me know how far you are from Valley Ranch!
Thnx!
