hey, so couple of days ago the break light out on the right side comes on. i replaced every bulb in the rear and nothing changes.

all bulbs work fine. i donno whats up. i checked the strip for rust or anything, all clean, all good contact.

once i start the car, without even stepping on the brake pedal or turning on the lights, within a few seconds, the light comes on. the big light on the dash is just annoying

what should i do?

Mine does the same thing on occasion. Reseating the bulb in it's housing does the trick for me, usually. Sometimes just turning the car off and on again clears it up.

hey, yea i tried that, i took all of them out like 5 times already and cleaned all contacts and shook them around while on and turned off the car a million times, it just keeps comming back a few seconds after start. maybe the whole strip is goig bad? not sure.

I have the same issue, and I read somewhere that it's likely an issue with the resistance in the bulbs (i.e. if you used non OEM bulbs, the resistance in them is higher than the OEM bulbs, causing a false positive from the sensor. I just ignore it, because all my lights still work.

Plus, I'm planning on upgrading to LED's pretty soon ;)

Make sure you check the center brake light it will cause the right rear to come on. Also replace any bulbs that the envelope has discolored (blackend).
Clean the cotacts inside of the light socket with a pencil eraser. good luck
