I recently got a ticket for 20 MPH over the speed limit on the Tollway. I don't care about paying the fine but I just don't want this to go on my record. If I take the DD course, will this keep the ticket off my record? The court clerk told me that I should defer it. I would pay the fine, be on probation for 2 months and the ticket goes away. I know this has been hashed over several times but I just wanted to verify. Thanks for any input.

From what I've been told, save DD for a state trooper ticket seeing as those are hard to get out of.

you sshould be able to do defensive driving. just look on the back of your tickets. it gives you the options

Thanks. Just to clarify, it was from a State Trooper.

Do nolo contendere and take DD. And don't wait untill the last minute to take DD(or get driving record) either!
